Examples:
- It’s hard to make a decision when you have too many options.
- Let’s take a break and continue after lunch.
- The conference will take place next month in Madrid.
- She always makes an effort to help her colleagues.
Remember: «do» and «make» are often confused because both translate to «hacer» in Spanish — generally, «make» is used for creating something (make a decision, make progress), while «do» is used for tasks and activities (do homework, do a favor).
